Polidict for Firefox: on your computer and on Android
Polidict now works in Firefox on your computer and on Android. Together with Chrome and Safari, the extension now covers every major browser, on your phone too.
The Polidict extension for Firefox is now on Firefox Add-ons. It works in Firefox on your computer and in Firefox for Android. Select an unfamiliar word on a page, click the Polidict button, and you will see its meaning and translation. You can save the word to your vocabulary right away and keep reading.

Polidict in every major browser
The Polidict extension is now available in Chrome, Safari, and Firefox. Two of them also work on your phone: Safari on iPhone and iPad, and Firefox on Android. Wherever you read, you can save a word without leaving the page.

| Chrome and other Chromium browsers | Chrome Web Store |
| Safari on Mac | Polidict app on the Mac App Store |
| Safari on iPhone and iPad | Polidict app on the App Store |

Words you save in any browser go to the same account. You will find them on the Polidict website and in the mobile app, and later in your spaced repetition training.

The panel opens over the text, so you will not lose your place. If the word is already in your vocabulary, Polidict shows your saved entry. On a computer, you can also right-click the selected word and choose Look up in Polidict.
Is the word not on the page? Click the Polidict icon in the Firefox toolbar and type it into search. The extension shows the definition, translation, and examples, and you can listen to the pronunciation right there.
Polidict in Firefox for Android
On Android, you install the extension from the same place. You need Firefox 142 or later.
Open the Polidict page on Firefox Add-ons in Firefox on your phone and tap Add to Firefox.
Sign in to your account at polidict.com in the same browser.
Select a word on a page and tap the Polidict button next to it.
To look up a word without selecting it, open the Firefox menu and find Polidict under extensions. Chrome on Android and Firefox on iPhone do not support extensions. On iPhone and iPad, use the Safari extension.
